Stanley Park - PrintOne winter I took a road trip up to Vancouver, Canada. We stopped to walk around Stanley Park one afternoon. We started the hike in some really deep woods and the trees were so thick that you could barely see the sky though the branches. The first clearing we came to was on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean and mountains in the distance. There was this dead tree right in the center of our view. Out on the last branch there were two bald eagles

blending more and more digital aspects into the hand-drawn elements

and a lot of blues and purples

(basically anything that's running or being thrown)

Add to this the awe-inspiring scenery of the Red Rocks Amphitheater

and the amazing summers in Boulder

It was much smaller

In the end I decided to go with a pink Betta fish and just let it flow ✍️💧 check them out with The Dire Wolves at The Fox Theatre on 4/04/20

I feel so fortunate to have this gem in my backyard

Working with Aaron is always quite the adventure

I really dove deep into a few different rhythms

There really is no way to prepare for how it feels to come around a corner and be standing face to face with a 10 ft

and of course The Smurfs
